The Construction Technology Innovation Laboratory (CTIL), with support from the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), will host its 2025 Technical Seminar on Latest Innovations in Sustainable Steel and Concrete Construction on 19 September 2025.

This annual seminar brings together regulators, industry leaders, and researchers to spotlight applied research that will shape a greener and more resilient built environment.

The programme features 12 presentations covering:

  • Steel Innovations: Including Masteel’s high-strength jumbo H-sections and the use of S690 steel in complex structures like skybridges and kingposts.
  • Concrete Breakthroughs: From ultra-low carbon concrete (ULCC) and permeable concrete with steel slag to super water grout and steel fibre-reinforced solutions for underground works.
  • Policy & Standards Updates: Including early insights into the upcoming BC1:2023 revisions and practical implementations of steel reuse in local projects.

Join us for this seminar at Ho Bee Auditorium at SIT Punggol Campus, where speakers from Singapore, China, and Japan share cutting-edge research translated into scalable solutions for industry impact.
