Congratulations, SIT Class of 2026!

Every graduation is a moment of arrival — but it is also a beginning, and I am honoured to celebrate this one with you as Provost.

This milestone is yours. As Singapore's University for Industry, we set out to prepare you differently — through applied learning, hands-on projects, and immersive stints in industry that pushed you to solve real problems, not just study them. That is the SIT way, and you have lived it fully.

As someone who has spent my career at the intersection of research and real-world application, I know how much resilience this path demands. The world of work is changing fast — AI is reshaping industries as we speak — but you graduate ready for it, equipped with the adaptability and lifelong learning mindset ingrained in the SITizen DNA, ready to thrive across a lifetime of careers and industries yet to be defined.

Our Punggol Campus continues to grow as a home for innovation, where students, industry and academia learn and build side by side. Wherever your journey takes you, this campus remains your home ground. Come back to upskill, to reskill, and to mentor the SITizens who will follow in your footsteps.

As you step out into the world, I hope you carry with you not just what you've learnt, but a drive to create impact — for your industries, your communities, and society at large. And you don't have to do it alone; some of the most meaningful impact is created together, with the people and communities around you.
