Yangzheng Foundation Bursary
The Yangzheng Foundation Bursary benefits undergraduates enrolled in full-time degree programmes at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), so that they may focus on their education and develop to their fullest potential without being hindered by financial difficulties.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Undergraduates enrolled in any full-time degree programme offered by the Institute.

Singapore Citizens.

Have a family income satisfying the Institute’s classification of financial neediness.

Consideration will be given to applicants with medical condition or whose family members suffer from disabilities or serious illness.

Agree to use reasonable efforts to volunteer their time to help the community.
Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

Each bursary is valued at S$6,250 and is tenable for one Academic Year.

The bursary will be used to fund the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for the overseas immersion programme conducted by the Institute, and other studies-related expenses.

Individuals to whom the bursaries are awarded may apply again for bursaries after their bursary has expired, subject to his/her continuing to meet the selection eligibility and criteria set out herein and maintaining good academic performance.

No bond is required of the recipient.
About the Donor
This Bursary has been made possible with a gift from Yangzheng Foundation (飬 正 基 金), whose objectives are to promote, foster, develop and improve education in Singapore and to provide financial support for needy students and other charitable bodies to aid social development for society.
