Wu Peihui Bursary

The Wu Peihui Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing a full-time degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). 

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Full-time undergraduates enrolled in:
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Information and Communications Technology (Information Security) or the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Information and Communications Technology (Software Engineering) offered by the Institute;
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Systems Engineering (ElectroMechanical Systems) jointly offered by SIT and DigiPen Institute of Technology; or
    • Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computing Science jointly offered by SIT and the University of Glasgow
  • Are Singapore Citizens.

  • Have a household Per Capita Income (PCI) less than or equal to S$2,000.

  • Preference will be given to undergraduates with demonstrated leadership qualities or a good record of community service involvement.

  • Preference will be given to female undergraduates to encourage women to take up employment in the field of Information and Communication Technology.

Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

  • Each Bursary is valued at S$6,000 and is tenable for one (1) academic year.

  • The Bursary will be used to fund the recipient’s education expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, study trips and other educational activities organised by the Institute.

  • Recipients of this Bursary may accept other bursaries concurrently.

  • No bond is required of the recipient.

About the Donor

The Bursary is made possible by a gift from Ms Wu Peihui, who is motivated by a passion for supporting education and inspiring women in the field of cyber security.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT. 

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
