Tractors Singapore Bursary

The Tractors Singapore Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged but deserving students pursuing the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering undergraduate degree programme offered by the Institute.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Students pursuing the full-time Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering undergraduate degree programme at the Institute.
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
  • Household Per Capita Income (PCI) less than or equal to $1,000. 

Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

  • Each Bursary, valued at $5,000, is applicable for one (1) academic year.
  • The Bursary will be used to fund the recipient’s education expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for the overseas immersion programme, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.
  • Recipients of this Bursary may accept other bursaries, scholarships or awards concurrently.
  • No bond is required of the recipient.

About the Donor

The Bursary is made possible by a gift from Tractors Singapore Limited, a leading equipment dealer with more than five decades of excellence in the heavy equipment and power systems industry. Tractors Singapore Limited is a full line Cat dealer distributing Cat machines, engines, propulsion systems and lift trucks for the service territories of the Republic of Singapore, the Republic of Maldives and Christmas Island (Indian Ocean).

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT. 

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
