LightHaus Photonics Bursary
The LightHaus Photonics Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree programme offered by the Engineering Cluster at the Singapore Institute of Technology.
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Year 1 or Year 2 students pursuing any of the following full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered by the Institute:
- BEng (Hons) Electrical Power Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Mechatronics Systems
- BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Electronics and Data Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Computer Engineering
- BEng (Hons) Engineering Systems
- BEng (Hons) Robotics Systems
- Singapore Citizens; and
- Have a monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) between S$700 to S$1,400.
Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

Each bursary is valued at $5,000 and is tenable for one academic year.

The Bursary shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for overseas immersion programmes conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.

Recipients who have already been awarded the Bursary for one year of study may apply to receive and be considered for the Bursary in subsequent years, subject to the fulfilment of the selection criteria and the selection by the Selection Committee.

Recipients of this Bursary may accept other bursaries, scholarships, grants or awards concurrently.

The Bursary is made possible with a gift by LightHaus Photonics Pte. Ltd. LightHaus Photonics is a deep-tech photonics company founded in 2011. How To Apply
Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
