How do I know if I am eligible to attend Convocation 2025?
You are eligible to attend Convocation 2025 if you have been conferred with a degree in AY2024/25 Trimester 1, 2 and 3. Additionally, you should receive an invitation email in your SIT email to register for Convocation 2025 by end August 2025.

I have registered for Convocation 2025 via IN4SIT. What are the next steps?
You should receive a confirmation email in your SIT email notifying you that your registration is successful. Next, please ensure that you complete all items in the Convocation Preparation Checklist before your ceremony day.

What should I do if I did not receive a confirmation email after registering for Convocation 2025 in IN4SIT?
A confirmation email will be sent to your SIT email if the registration is successful. If you did not receive a confirmation email, please ensure that you have clicked on the ‘Submit’ button at the end of the registration process. Otherwise, please resubmit your registration.
If the problem persists, you may write to Convocation@SingaporeTech.edu.sg for assistance.

What should I do if I do not have access to my free-for-life SIT email?
You may log into the Self-Service Portal to retrieve/reset your password or write in to IThelpdesk@Singaporetech.edu.sg.

When will I receive the e-tickets for guests?
You will receive the e-tickets for guests via your SIT email at the end of September 2025.

Can I request for more than 2 guest e-tickets?
Graduands are entitled to a maximum of 2 guest e-tickets only. If you have more than 2 guests, they are welcome to view the livestream from Lectorial 7, E2 Level 1. Entry to Lectorial 7 is first come, first served.

What do I need to bring on the ceremony day?
The following are mandatory items to be brought to your ceremony:
- Graduand admission card;
- Academic dress, hood and cap; and
Graduands and guests are advised not to bring large bags. SIT is not liable for any lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings. -

What is the dress code for the ceremony?

Where and when should I put on my academic dress on ceremony day?
You may robe your academic dress at the Auditorium foyer at least 45 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

What will I receive during the ceremony?
If you did not collectyour degree parchment and transcript prior to the ceremony, you will receive the following items on ceremony day:
- Degree parchment*
- Official academic transcript
- Record of Transferable Skills (RTS), for applicable degree programmes only
- Award(s), if any
If you had collected your degree parchment and transcript before Convocation, you will receive the following:- Award(s), if any
- Congratulatory letter
*Degree parchments will be withheld if there are any outstanding fees as of the day of your ceremony. Please contact Student Finance via StudentFinance@SingaporeTech.edu.sg for enquiries on outstanding fees. -

What is the sequence of graduands being presented on stage?
The graduand listing for Convocation 2025 will be published here on 13 October 2025. You may refer to the list for the sequence of graduands bring presented on stage.

(applicable to Trimester 1 & 2 graduands) Will I be presented on stage if I have already collected my degree parchment and transcript during the early collection period?
You will still be presented on stage during the ceremony if you had collected your degree parchment and transcript during the early collection period.

Will there be official photos taken during my stage presentation?
Photographs will be taken during your stage presentation. You may access and purchase the photos here from 24 October 2025.

Are there allocated wheelchair spaces in the Auditorium?
Yes. Additionally, graduands and guests with mobility challenges may take the lift located at E3 Level 1, assisted by our ushers.
If you require special assistance on stage, please write to Convocation@Singaporetech.edu.sg by 1 October 2025.

What is the duration of the ceremony?
The ceremony is estimated to be approximately 1 hour 30 minutes in duration. The actual duration may vary for each session.

Will there be refreshments provided?
Snack boxes will be distributed after the ceremony to graduands and guests who have attended the ceremony. Please note that eating and drinking in the Auditorium is prohibited.
Additionally, there will be food stalls available at E6. Graduands may redeem a food item using the voucher that will be distributed on ceremony day.

I am not able to attend SIT Convocation 2025. Can a representative collect my degree parchment and transcript on my behalf?
It is not possible to send a representative to collect your degree parchment and transcript on your behalf during the period of Convocation 2025.
If you are unable to attend SIT Convocation 2025 and have yet to collect your degree parchment and transcript, you may do so from 27 October 2025. Please write in to Registrar@SingaporeTech.edu.sg to arrange collection after the ceremony.

What do I need to bring for the ceremony?
Please bring your e-ticket in softcopy or hardcopy and ensure that each guest has 1 e-ticket . E-tickets will be scanned before guests enter the Auditorium. If you did not receive your e-ticket, please check with the graduand. E-tickets will be sent to all graduands’ SIT email by the end of September 2025.
Guests without e-tickets or under the age of 7 will not be permitted entry to the Auditorium. They may watch the livestream from Lectorial 7, E2 Level 1. Entry to Lectorial 7 is first come, first served.
Graduands and guests are advised not to bring large bags. SIT is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.

Is the event open to the public?
The ceremony held at the Auditorium is a closed event and is only accessible to graduands and guests with valid e-tickets. However, SIT Punggol Campus is open to the public.

Can I bring flowers to the ceremony?
You may bring flowers. However, all flowers must be deposited at the flower deposit counter located at E3, Level 1M before the ceremony as flowers in the Auditorium is prohibited. You may collect your flowers from the counter after the ceremony.

Will there be flowers and merchandise sold on campus?
Flowers and merchandise will be available for purchase at E6 Level 1.
