Quick overview and important dates
1. Apply online
Mid-January – Mid-March
Submit your application and make the payment for your application fee online. This applies to the degree programmes of your choice as well as scholarships, if any.
Refer to our undergraduate application guide for more details.
2. Prepare for your interview / screening
February – May
We will interview shortlisted candidates during this period.
For some degree programmes, we will require you to submit your portfolio or essay, and/or take written or technical tests.
3. Application outcome(s)
April – May
If you are successful in your application, you will receive our offer via email.
Potential recipients of our SIT scholarship will also be invited for an interview with us.
4. Accept our offer
May – June
Successful applicants who are accepting our offer may do so via the Joint Acceptance Portal by the joint acceptance deadline.
Once we have processed your acceptance of our offer, we will send our e-matriculation package to you in June.

Your career aptitude goes beyond grades and test scores. Here at SIT, we take a holistic approach in selecting prospective students. These are five key areas that we look out for:
Academic Proficiency
Having the relevant academic background or work experience will go a long way in helping you cope with the rigour of our programmes. Do you have the necessary capacity to take on the expectations of your chosen field?
Passion
Researching on a subject area, engaging with professionals in the field, or joining a subject-specific interest group are some ways to explore your passion. What steps have you taken to demonstrate passion for your selected programme of choice?
Work experience
Having prior experience in a related industry will lend weight to your application. What skills have you picked up along the way?
Personality Traits
There are certain attributes that will give you an advantage in the programme that you are applying for. What traits do you possess that make you suitable for the programme of your choice?
Interests
Having broader interests will give you the flexibility in options as you consider and select the programmes of your choice. What different subject areas are you interested in?

Select up to 5 programmes that best reflect your interests, abilities and who you are.
Do use our Indicative Grade Profile to guide your programme selection.
Rank your selection in order of preference
The order of your choices will be taken into consideration during our selection process.
Tell us more about yourself
We want to know more about you as it helps us with our assessment of your application.
Share with us your passion and aptitude for your chosen field in a written personal statement.
Remember to list your relevant work experience, awards, memberships, and qualifications.
Ensure information accuracy
Make sure that the information you provide is up-to-date and accurate before submitting your application.

Admission InterviewsConducted between Mid-Feb - Mid-May for different programmes
Format of interviewAll shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview assessment, conducted in varying formats such as video interviews, face-to-face interviews, or written tests. Those who pass the required assessments will be made an offer.
Please note that interviews for most programmes will commence from mid-Feb to mid-May. The exact period may differ for each programme.
If you are shortlisted for an interview assessment, you will be notified by email with instructions. Do check your inbox, as well as your junk/spam folder. The order of your programme choices in your application will be duly taken into consideration in your final offer, should you pass the various assessments.

Returning NSmen
If you have accepted our offer whilst serving your national service (NS), we will reserve a place in the accepted programme for you. This will allow you to commence with your studies once you have fulfilled your NS obligation.
