KRISfam Fund Outstanding Student Award for Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

The candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Graduating student from a full-time undergraduate degree programme under the Information Communications Technology Cluster
• Achieved outstanding academic results as the Institute may in its sole discretion determine
• Demonstrated specific intent to be self-entrepreneurial by way of quick pitch to the Selection Committee (comprising senior faculty and staff members of the Institute). Candidates should show their intention to start up a new business in Singapore
• Preference will be given to graduating students who have completed the end-to-end innovation (e2ei) framework
• Made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the community as determined by the Institute in its sole discretion

Benefits of the Award

Certificate and Cash Prize of S$8,000 

In cases where the application is of an exceptional quality, the Cash Prize may be increased up to S$10,000
 

About the Donor

This award has been made possible with a gift from KRISfam Fund through the Community Foundation of Singapore, with the intent to support innovation and entrepreneurship while recognising academic excellence among students pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree programme under the Information Communications Technology Cluster.
