Polytechnic Diplomas
Minimum Age Requirement
Applicants who are Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents or flow-through foreign students1 must be at least 18 years of age as of 1 January of the matriculation year, or have completed a minimum of 12 years of formal education beginning with Primary 1 or equivalent.
1Refers to foreign students who have completed their tertiary education in the Junior Colleges, Millennia Institute, Integrated Programme (IP) schools, polytechnics, or Specialised Independent Schools viz. NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, School of Science and Technology (SST), School of the Arts (SOTA), and Singapore Sports School.
Applicants, regardless of nationality, may apply with a diploma from one of the following polytechnics in Singapore:
- Nanyang Polytechnic
- Ngee Ann Polytechnic
- Republic Polytechnic
- Singapore Polytechnic
- Temasek Polytechnic
Final semester polytechnic students can apply by submitting their results for the first five semesters of their studies. Results for the sixth semester must be furnished once available.

Former or current students from the local Autonomous Universities — National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), or Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) — may also apply.
