Seagift Scholarship

The Seagift Scholarship was established to support and recognise deserving students who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours degree programme, Food, Chemical and Biotechnology cluster degree programmes and Engineering cluster degree programmes at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

  • Applicable to students who are pursuing the following full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered by the Institute:
    • Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours
    • Degree programmes under the Food, Chemical and Biotechnology cluster
    • Degree programmes under the Engineering cluster
  • Singapore Citizens.
  • Have achieved outstanding academic results as the Institute may in its sole discretion determine.
  • Have a record of good character.

Benefits and Obligation of Scholarship:

  • Each Scholarship, valued at $7,500, is applicable for one (1) academic year.
  • The Scholarship shall be used for the recipients' educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, or expenses related to approved regional as well as global study trips organised by the Institute.
  • Recipients of this Scholarship may accept other scholarship(s) concurrently.

About the Donor

The Scholarship is made possible by a gift from Seagift Food Pte Ltd, a frozen seafood business which sources and supplies quality products for distribution to various market segments, including restaurants, supermarkets, hotels, cafes, caterers, hospitals, canteens, clubs, institutions, and wholesalers.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
