SCCCF Scholarship

The SCCCF Scholarship is applicable to all Singaporean or Permanent Resident students pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree in one of the programmes listed below offered at the Institute.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Are pursuing a full-time SIT-conferred undergraduate degree programme offered by the Institute (including both SIT’s own degree programmes and the joint degree programmes) and are proceeding to Year 2 of their studies

  • Are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents

  • Have achieved outstanding academic results with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 in every Academic Year

  • Have made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the community at large, either in co-curricular activities or leadership positions

  • Have good character record

  • Preference will be  given to applicants with greater financial need

Tenure and Benefits of Scholarship

  • Each Scholarship, valued at S$15,000 per annum, is tenable for the full course of studies (for up to 3 years).

  • The Scholarship shall be used for the recipients' educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for study trips and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.

  • Recipients shall attend at least one meeting session and volunteer at events and ceremonies organised by the Donor and/or its Scholars Network.

  • Recipients shall be required to submit an essay of 3,000 words. Subject of the essay will be determined by the Donor and recipients will have up to 8 weeks for the essay submission.

  • Recipients will receive a free membership to the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and be granted access to its Scholars Network in the year of award of the Scholarship. 

  • Recipients of this Scholarship may not hold other scholarship(s) concurrently.

The Scholarship has been made possible with a gift from Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce Foundation (SCCCF). SCCCF’s vision is to foster a cohesive, compassionate and culturally vibrant society through the provision of funding for meaningful educational, cultural, community and charitable causes and projects. 

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
