RSM Singapore Financial Scholarship

The RSM Singapore Financial Scholarship is open to financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates who are pursuing a Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Are pursuing the full-time Accountancy undergraduate degree programme offered by the Institute.

  • Singapore Citizens

  • Applicant must be pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours offered at SIT

  • Have achieved outstanding academic results as the Institute may in its sole discretion determine.

  • Have a record of good character 

  • Have a monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) less than or equal to $1000

Benefits and Obligation of Scholarship

  • Valued at S$5,000 the scholarship is applicable for one academic year

  • The Scholarship will be used for recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for Overseas Immersion Programme conducted by the institute and fees for other educational activities organised by the institute

  • The recipients may be offered Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP) opportunities with the Donor.

  • Recipients who have already been awarded the Scholarship for one year of study may apply to receive and be considered for the Scholarship in a subsequent year of study, subject to the fulfilment of the above selection criteria, and with the recommendation of the Institute and the selection by the Selection Committee.

  • Recipients who have already been awarded the Scholarship may accept other bursaries, scholarships or awards concurrently.

About the Donor

The Scholarship is made possible by a gift from RSM Chio Lim LLP, a public accounting entity offering assurance and tax services. Together with Stone Forest, the umbrella name under which the business advisory and business support services operate, it is the largest accounting and business advisory group outside the Big 4 in Singapore.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
