Rotary Club of Bugis Junction Scholarship

The Rotary Club of Bugis Junction Scholarship is applicable to all Singaporean or Permanent Resident students pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree programme offered at the Institute.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Are pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree programme offered by the Institute

  • Are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents

  • Achieved outstanding academic results as the Institute may in its sole discretion determine

  • Have demonstrated leadership qualities

  • Have made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the wider community

  • Have good character record

  • Preference will be given to applicants with a household per capita income (PCI) of no more than $1,000 per month

Tenure and Benefits of Scholarship

  • Each Scholarship, valued at S$10,000 is applicable for one (1) academic year.

  • The Scholarship shall be used for the recipients' educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for study trips and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.

  • The Recipient who has been awarded the Scholarship for one year of study may re-apply for the Scholarship in a subsequent year of study, subject to meeting the selection criteria.

  • Recipients of this Scholarships may accept other scholarship(s) concurrently

The Scholarship has been made possible with a gift from the Rotary Club of Bugis Junction. Rotary brings together a global network of volunteer leaders who dedicate their time and talent to tackle the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
