OUE Scholarship

The OUE Scholarship is established at SIT to support deserving undergraduate students who are enrolled in full-time degree programmes and to encourage them to strive for and achieve academic excellence and contribute to their community.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time undergraduates pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration Food Business Management degree programme. 
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
  • Have achieved outstanding academic results.
  • Have made significant contributions beyond academic studies with outstanding leadership, co-curricular activities or community service.
  • Preference will be given to students with a monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) of $1,000 or less.

Tenure and Benefits of Scholarship

  • Each Scholarship, valued at $10,000, is applicable for one (1) academic year.
  • The Scholarship shall be used for the recipients' educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, or expenses related to approved regional study trips or global study trips organised by the Institute. 
  • Recipients of this Scholarship may continue to receive this scholarship in a subsequent year of study, subject to the fulfilment of the criteria above, and with the recommendation of the Institute and the selection by the Selection Committee.
  • Recipients may not accept other scholarships concurrently.

About the Donor

The Scholarship is made possible by a gift from OUE Limited, a diversified real estate owner, developer and operator, through its food and lifestyle subsidiary, OUE Restaurants (OUER). OUER is a collection of diverse dining concepts from fast, casual all-day dining such as Delifrance, Maxx Coffee, Chen's Mapo Tofu and Fufu Pot, to restaurants and bars such as Chatterbox, Rempapa, Takayama, Hashida, and Vue, to the 1 Michelin-starred Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
