Madam Peggy Shaw Scholarship

The Madam Peggy Shaw Scholarship was established to support deserving students pursuing full-time undergraduate degree programmes at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), with a focus on those enrolled in the Health and Social Sciences cluster. The scholarship also extends to students from the Business, Communication and Design cluster, specifically those in the Bachelor of Business in Hospitality and Tourism Management with Honours, and the Bachelor of Integrated Studies (Honours) in Business and Infocomm Technology with dual specialisations in Hospitality and Tourism Management and Artificial Intelligence.
 

Each Scholarship, valued at $10,000 per year, is tenable for the entire course of studies for up to four Academic years, as long as the Recipient continues to fulfil the eligibility and selection criteria.

About the Donor

The Scholarship is made possible by Shaw Foundation. The Shaw Foundation in Singapore was established in 1957 with the overriding principle that wealth contributed by society should be returned and in generous measure. It is one of the largest philanthropic organisations in Singapore. Since its establishment, the Foundation has supported numerous initiatives in education, welfare, medicine, the arts and heritage.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
