Kewalram Chanrai Group Scholarship

The Kewalram Chanrai Group Scholarship is open to all Female Singaporean and Permanent Resident undergraduates who are pursuing a full-time degree programme at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a female

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Outstanding academic results

  • Have good character record

  • Demonstrate good leadership skills

  • Preference will be given to applicants with a Household Per Capita Income (PCI) of no more than S$1,000

Benefits and Obligation of Scholarship

  • Valued at S$15,000 each, this Scholarship is applicable for one academic year

  • The Scholarship will be used for recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for Overseas Immersion Programme conducted by the institute and fees for other educational activities organised by the institute

  • Recipients may apply again after the applicable period of the scholarship has expired, subject to meeting selection criteria

  • Recipients may not hold other scholarship(s) concurrently

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
