Ho Bee Scholarship

The Ho Bee Scholarship was established to support deserving students pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

  • Applicable to students who are pursuing any of the following full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered by the Institute:
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil Engineering;
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services);
    • Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours;
    • Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Interior Design;
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical Power Engineering;
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Information and Communications Technology (Information Security);
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering;
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Design Engineering;
    • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electronics and Data Engineering;
    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology.
  • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
  • Have achieved exceptional academic results as the Institute may in its sole discretion determine.

Benefits and Obligation of Scholarship

  • Each Scholarship, valued at $10,000, is applicable for one (1) academic year.
  • The Scholarship shall be used for the recipients' educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for any overseas immersion programmes conducted by the Institute, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.
  • Recipient(s) will be offered an Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP) opportunity with the Donor.
  • Recipients of this Scholarship may accept other scholarship(s) concurrently.

About the Donor

The Scholarship has been made possible with a gift from Ho Bee Land. Headquartered in Singapore, Ho Bee Land has property investments and developments in Singapore, Australia, China, and the United Kingdom. The company has a portfolio that covers many quality residential and commercial projects since its establishment in 1987.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
