AbbVie Scholarship

The AbbVie Scholarship was established to support financially disadvantaged but deserving undergraduates enrolled in the Pharmaceutical Engineering degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicable to students who are pursuing the full-time Pharmaceutical Engineering degree programme offered by the Institute;
  • Are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents;
  • Have achieved outstanding academic results as the Institute may in its sole discretion determine; and     
  • Have made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the community.

Benefits & Obligation of Scholarship:

  • Valued at S$ 7,500, the scholarship is applicable for one academic year

  • The Scholarship shall be used for the recipients’ tuition fees as well as study-related expenses such as the Overseas Immersion Programme and others

  • Recipients may hold other scholarship(s) concurrently

  • No bond is required of the recipient.

  • Recipients may be offered an Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP) opportunity with the Donor.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
