About the Donor
The Bursary is made possible by the Tan Joo Kee Scholarship Fund, which was established in the mid 1980s through a bursary trust founded by the late Tan Joo Kee. Tan Joo Kee was born in 1900. He did not have formal education but became a successful businessman. He set up the fund to help students meet the costs of pursuing tertiary education so that they could have greater opportunities which come from education.
