Manak & Madhubala Maheshwari Bursary
The Manak & Madhubala Maheshwari Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Are pursuing any of the full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered by the Institute.
- Are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents.
- Have a household Per Capita Income (PCI) of less than or equal to $1,500.
Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:
- Each Bursary is valued at $5,000 and is tenable for one (1) academic year.
- The Bursary shall be used for the recipients' educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for the overseas immersion programmes, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.
- Recipients who have already been awarded the Bursary for one year of study may apply to receive and be considered for the Bursary in subsequent year(s) of study, subject to the fulfilment of the above selection criteria, with the recommendation of the Institute and the selection by the Selection Committee.
- Recipients of this Bursary may accept other scholarships, bursaries or awards concurrently.
- No bond is required of the recipient.
About the Donor
The Bursary is made possible by a gift from Mr Mohit Maheshwari to honour his parents and continue the good work they have done throughout their lives to help others.
How To Apply
Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
