Compass 8 Bursary Award
The Compass 8 Bursary Award was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving students pursuing a full-time undergraduate degree at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Full-time undergraduates pursuing a degree programme offered by the Institute.

Of any nationality.

Have a household Per Capita Income (PCI) of not more than $1,500.

Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated leadership qualities or have made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the institute or the community.
Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

Each Bursary is valued at S$5,000 and is tenable for one academic year.

The Bursary shall be used for the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for study trips and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.

Recipients of this Bursary may accept another bursary concurrently.

No bond is required of the recipient.

The Compass 8 Bursary Award aims to provide some relief for financially needy students to focus on their studies, experience the enriching opportunities of varsity life and develop themselves to the fullest. It is gifted by donors who are motivated by their personal experiences coming from humble backgrounds and their strong belief in the life-changing potential of education. They hope that the recipients will become active contributors towards the betterment of humanity and the world.
