Choo-Lim Bursary
The Choo-Lim Bursary was established to benefit worthy but financially disadvantaged undergraduates studying full-time at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Are pursuing any full-time undergraduate degree programme offered by the Institute.
- Singapore Citizens.
- Possess good academic results.
- Student’s family satisfies the Institute’s classification of financial neediness.
- Consideration will be given to applicants with medical condition(s) or whose family members suffer from disabilities or serious illness.
Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

Each bursary is valued at S$5,000 and is tenable for one Academic Year.

The bursary will be used to fund the recipient’s educational expenses, such as tuition fees and other study-related expenses.

Those who have been awarded the Choo Chiau Beng Bursary before may apply again for it again after their bursary has expired, subject to the applicant continuing to meet the selection eligibility criteria.

No bond is required of the recipient.
About the Donor
This Bursary has been made possible with a gift from Mr Choo Chiau Beng to enable financially disadvantaged but deserving undergraduates to make the most of a quality education at SIT without being hindered by their circumstances.
How To Apply
Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
