Chong Family Study Grant

The Chong Family Study Grant was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing any full-time undergraduate degree programme offered by the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Eligibility:

The candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Are first-year students pursuing any full-time undergraduate degree programme offered by the University.
  • Are Singapore Citizens.
  • Have a monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) of less than or equal to Singapore Dollars One Thousand and Eight Hundred Only
  • (S$1,800); and
  • With a preference for students who have achieved outstanding academic results.
  • Each Study Grant is applicable for one (1) Academic Year.
  • Recipients who have already been awarded the Study Grant for one year of study may apply to receive and be considered for the Study
  • Grant in subsequent years, subject to the fulfilment of the selection criteria and the selection by the Selection Committee.v

Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

  • Cash Prize of S$7,500

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT. 

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
