Aster Bursary

The Aster Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving students pursuing any of the following full-time degree programmes offered by the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) – Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Chemical Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical Power Engineering, and Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering.

About the Donor

The Bursary is made possible by Aster Chemicals and Energy Pte. Ltd. Aster is a leading provider of chemical and energy solutions in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region. Building on the foundations of Singapore’s first oil refinery, Aster has a fully integrated refinery and petrochemical manufacturing operation on Pulau Bukom, and downstream chemical assets on Jurong Island. Aster is jointly owned by Chandra Asri Group, Southeast Asia’s leading energy, chemical and infrastructure solutions company, and Glencore, one of the world's largest globally diversified natural resource companies.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT. 

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
