Become a Sustainability Catalyst. As sustainability transforms from a global priority into a core business imperative, the demand for talent and leaders who can navigate green transitions is surging.

The Applied Sustainability Talent Programme (ASTP) is designed for high-achieving learners to gain a Second Major in Applied Sustainability while pursuing their main degree, preparing them to become catalysts who can drive sustainability management across diverse sectors.

Developed in close partnership with Chief Sustainability Officers (CSOs) and industry experts, the ASTP empowers learners to complement their primary discipline with advanced sustainability competencies.

The ASTP Experience: Practice-Driven & Industry-Linked

  • Real-World Impact: ASTP students follow a curriculum designed to build mastery in sustainability measurement, management, and leadership, applied directly to their primary field of study.
  • Strategic Mentorship: Students work alongside CSOs and industry experts to navigate complex sustainability landscapes through an industry-linked Organisational Sustainability Project.
  • Global Exposure: Students will gain a broader perspective on the green economy through exclusive overseas immersion opportunities.
  • Cross-Sector Versatility: Students will tackle challenges across diverse industries, including Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Finance and Professional Services.

  • Credit Requirements: 54 credits (comprising Fundamentals, Practice, Discipline-Specific, and an Organisational Project).
  • Duration: Requires only one additional trimester of study beyond the primary degree.
