Xiao De (孝德) Bursary
The Xiao De (孝德) Bursary benefits undergraduates enrolled in full-time degree programmes at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), so that that they may focus on their education and develop to their fullest potential without being hindered by financial difficulties.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Students enrolled in any full-time undergraduate degree programme offered by SIT

Singapore Citizens / Malaysian Citizens

Household Per Capita Income (PCI) less than or equal to S$600

Consideration will be given to applicants with medical condition or whose family members suffer from disabilities or serious illness.

Unforeseen circumstances such as loss of housing, hardship in the family

Good performance at selection interview.
Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

Each bursary is valued at S$3,000 and is tenable for one Academic Year.

The bursary will be used to fund the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for the overseas immersion programme conducted by the Institute, and other studies-related expenses.

No bond is required of the recipient.
About the Donor
The Xiao De (孝 德) Bursary is made possible by gifts from an anonymous donor who believes in perpetuating the philanthropic spirit of giving by encouraging the concept of “paying it forward” amongst the community of bursary recipients. The donor values the importance of filial piety and is a strong advocate in the promotion of ethical and responsible action in business.
How To Apply
Matriculated students are to submit their Financial Aid application via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT. Do note that students are to connect to the SIT VPN before accessing IN4SIT.
Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form and upload all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline.
