The Kenoil Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing the full-time Undergraduate degree programme in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering offered by Singapore Institute of Technology.

About the Donor

The Bursary is made possible with a gift by Mr Desmond Gregory Chong Teck Jin and Ms Tan Poey See. Kenoil Marine Services was founded in 2000 with a modest start of just two small second-hand wooden barges. As a bunker supplier and operator, the company grew over the years in size and capabilities, owning newbuild steel bunker tankers equipped with mass flow meters to supply marine fuel to a wide spectrum of vessels calling at the port of Singapore. The organisation has a strong following from its portfolio of longstanding clients, built on a relationship of professionalism, integrity and mutual trust.
