Psychology of AI Series
Build the Human Capabilities Behind AI Success
Why It Matters
Deploying AI Well is Both a Technical, and People Challenge
Organisations have moved from piloting AI to embedding AI in everyday decision-making, but adoption can stall or backfire when the human side is overlooked.
The Psychology of AI series helps leaders develop the behavioural and psychological capabilities needed for responsible AI adoption. It equips leaders with practical frameworks for making people-related decisions alongside AI, including addressing bias, building trust, redesigning work and roles, and establishing accountability in workplaces supported by agentic AI.

The Learning Journey
A Complete Journey for Human-Centred AI Adoption
Each course can be taken as a standalone. Start with the one most relevant to your goals, or complete all six to progress through the six stages of human-AI judgement capability. Dates, fees and registration details are available on each course page.
PART 1
Human vs AI Decision-Making
Understand how human and AI decision-making differ, and where each is stronger.
Learn to compare human and algorithmic decision processes, recognise where AI-assisted decisions outperform or underperform human judgement, and identify when to rely on AI versus human review.
PART 2
AI Accuracy, Bias, and Decision Psychology
See how bias enters AI systems and how it shapes the humans reviewing them.
Learn to identify sources of bias in AI outputs and in human interpretation of them, evaluate accuracy claims critically, and apply safeguards that reduce biased decision-making on both sides.
PART 3
Psychology of Trust and Human–AI Interaction
Build the trust that determines whether AI tools actually get used.
Learn what drives over-trust and under-trust in AI systems, how to calibrate appropriate reliance, and how to design interactions that support healthy human–AI collaboration.
PART 4
Human-Centred AI Collaboration, Work and Role Redesign
Redesign roles and workflows around AI without losing the people doing the work.
Learn to redesign jobs and workflows for effective human–AI collaboration, manage the change impact on teams, and apply human-centred design principles to AI-augmented work.
PART 5
Agentic AI Autonomy, Control and Human Responsibility
Understand who stays accountable as AI agents act with more autonomy.
Learn to assess the appropriate level of autonomy for agentic AI systems, design human oversight and control points, and clarify accountability when agents act on a person's behalf.
PART 6 · CAPSTONE
Human–AI Governance Lab
Bring decision-making, trust and collaboration together into working governance practice.
A hands-on lab applying the series' concepts to real organisational scenarios: designing oversight structures, resolving human–AI accountability questions, and stress-testing governance decisions.
