About Course

AI systems are increasingly able to plan tasks, call tools, trigger workflows and act on behalf of the people who deploy them, opening up new capacity for organisations to automate complex, multi-step work rather than single actions. This shift gives businesses the ability to delegate meaningfully — but only where the humans overseeing these systems can define clear boundaries for what the AI is permitted to do on its own.

This course is the fifth in a six-part Psychology of AI series, and can be taken independently of the other five.

It examines the practical governance and psychological questions that arise once AI moves from generating answers to acting autonomously. It covers autonomy boundaries, agency controls, assurance mechanisms, human-reliance indicators, interface risks, AI-to-AI interaction, escalation design and accountability, and is designed for leaders, managers, analysts and compliance professionals who need a working framework for overseeing agentic AI rather than a technical grounding in how it is built.

Learners will leave with a practical Agentic AI Responsibility Map covering autonomy, human control, assurance, indicators, interfaces and accountability.

Delivered through in-person classroom sessions at SIT Punggol Campus, learners can expect a combination of facilitated discussion with hands-on exercises using the Capabara AI Assistant.

This course is developed in partnership with Straits Interactive, a leading edtech company committed to enabling organisations to thrive in a business landscape defined by Generative AI.
