New ASPRI Bursary Helps SIT Students to Engineer a Bright Future

A total of 16 ASPRI Bursaries will be awarded to SIT Engineering students over four years

From Academic Year (AY) 2023/24 onwards, eligible undergraduates enrolled in select Engineering degree programmes – namely, Civil Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, Mechanical Design and Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering – at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) can apply for a new bursary.

Made possible by the Association of Process Industry (ASPRI), a total of 16 ASPRI Bursaries will be awarded over a period of four years. Valued at $5,000 each, four bursaries will be awarded annually commencing this year.

Mr Danny Chua, President of ASPRI’s 14th Executive Council, presented the gift cheque to Associate Professor Kenneth Low (Cluster Director, Engineering), SIT, at the ASPRI Process Industry Lohei 2023 on 3 February 2023 held at Marina Bay Sands. The ceremony was graced by Guest-of-Honour Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State for Health and Deputy Secretary-General at the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC).
