Welcome to the ICT Cluster at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) — a vibrant community at the forefront of intelligence, computing, connectivity, and cybersecurity, shaping technologies that will define our digital future.

The ICT Cluster brings together three complementary divisions: AI & Data Science, Electronic and Computer Engineering, and Networks & Cybersecurity. These are among the most dynamic and transformative areas of modern technology, offering exciting opportunities for discovery, innovation and impact. Our work spans the foundations and frontiers of the digital world — from AI and data science, advanced computing and embedded systems, to next-generation networks, cybersecurity, and trustworthy digital technologies.

At the heart of our Cluster is a community of passionate educators, researchers, professional engineers, innovators and lifelong learners, bringing rich academic and industry experience across AI, wireless communications, software engineering, and network and information security, alongside emerging digital technologies. We believe excellence is driven by expertise, curiosity, collaboration and continuous learning.

Guided by SIT’s mission to maximise the potential of our learners and innovate with industry, we integrate applied learning and research with authentic industry engagement. Through hands-on experiences and real-world challenges, our learners learn by doing, solve authentic problems, and develop the confidence and capabilities to make an impact from the outset of their careers. We are privileged to accompany our students on an important part of their lifelong learning journey — teaching not only what to learn, but how to learn, so they can adapt, innovate and thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Beyond education and research, we co-create and innovate with our partners, translating knowledge and technology into meaningful impact for industry, public-sector organisations and communities. Many of our Cluster members work with the SIT × NVIDIA AI Centre, advancing AI research and adoption, and the Future Communications Translation Lab (FCTLab), driving innovation and technology translation in 5G, 6G and future communications. Together, we seek to build secure, trustworthy and connected intelligent systems that transform how we live, work, travel and interact with the world around us.
