* SIT will aid career advisory and connect trainees to government agencies and its relevant employers in their search for relevant jobs. However, SIT cannot guarantee job placements at the end of the programme even though SIT will make an effort to support trainees in their job search.

Course Fee Funding
If you're a self-sponsored learner (unemployed or employed), aged 21 and above:
LEARNER PROFILE Funding Category Singapore Citizen (below 40), PR or LTVP+ Holder Up to 70% of course fees subsidised Singapore Citizen (aged 40 and above) Up to 90% of course fees subsidised under Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) Singapore Citizen with additional course fee funding support criteria Up to 95% of course fees subsidised -
SkillsFuture Credit
You can also use your SkillsFuture Credit and Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) of S$4,000 to further offset out-of-pocket fees.

Mid-Career Training Allowance
If you're a Singapore Citizen aged 40 and above, and enrolled in an SCTP starting from 1 April 2025:
- Receive 50% of your average monthly income, capped at S$3,000/month
- Allowance is available for up to 24 months over your lifetime
- Use the Training Allowance Calculator to estimate your support

Who are these programmes for?

Do I need a tech background to join?
Little to no prior tech experience is required. Each programme has its own requirements, however most programme will start with foundational training and build towards practical, industry-relevant skills.

What’s the enrolment process like?
After you’ve registered your interest, you’ll complete an application form and submit supporting documents. To set you up for success, a SITLEARN advisor will review your background and motivations to ensure that the programme is a good fit, and may reach out for a brief interview call to better understand your goals. Once accepted, you’ll receive registration and funding details to begin your SCTP journey with us.

What is the learning format — is it fully online?
All SCTP programmes at SITLEARN are delivered in a blended learning format, combining online and in-person sessions. This means you’ll benefit from the flexibility of self-paced online modules, alongside live classes, hands-on workshops, and in-person coaching. It’s designed to fit around your schedule while still offering the structure, support, and peer interaction that make learning more effective.

What kind of support will I receive during the programme?
You’ll receive hands-on training, career coaching, and mentorship from industry practitioners. Programmes also include capstone projects to help you build a portfolio that reflects your capabilities and strategic thinking.

How much do the programmes cost?
Course fees vary by programme, but most learners may pay a fraction of the full cost due to the SkillsFuture funding.
Depending on your eligibility, you may enjoy either of the following subsides:
- Singapore Citizens aged 40+: Up to 90 – 95% funding
- Singapore Citizens below 40, PRs, and LTVP+ holders: Up to 70% funding
You can also use your SkillsFuture Credit to offset remaining fees.

What if I turn 40 years old in the middle of the programme?
If you turn 40 years old in the middle of the programme, you will qualify for the Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES) from the month you turn 40. The subsidy will only apply to the portion of programme fees that fall within the eligible period, and the fees will be pro-rated accordingly by SkillsFuture Singapore for calculation.

Is there financial support while I’m training?
Yes. If you're a Singapore Citizen aged 40+, you may receive a Mid-Career Training Allowance of up to S$3,000/month, based on your average income. This support is available for up to 24 months over your lifetime.
