About Course
As generative AI moves from experimentation to enterprise-wide deployment, organisations can now draw on a growing body of practical frameworks for AI strategy, governance, and value realisation, rather than treating each new AI initiative as a one-off. This gives leaders the ability to consolidate what they have learned about AI strategy, culture, technology, economics, and governance into a single, coherent playbook for their organisation.
This course is the capstone, and the sixth of the six-part Chief AI Officer and GenAI Leadership executive development series. It consolidates learning across the Five Plays of AI leadership: Strategy, People & Culture, Technology & Data, Economics & Control, and Governance & Risk. Whilst it can be taken independently of the other five, it is recommended that learners have completed the first five parts for best learning experience in this course.
Learners will use AI maturity-based case pathways to work through practical CAIO decisions, applying Principled Performance, the AI Factory Roadmap, the GenAI Transformation Dashboard, and board-level governance concepts to develop a coherent CAIO Playbook. A "Day in the Life of a CAIO" simulation gives participants practice in executive decision-making, and the course is designed for senior leaders, C-suite executives, and managers responsible for digital transformation, department heads and business unit leaders seeking to understand AI's strategic implications, professionals aspiring to Chief AI Officer or AI governance leadership roles, AI and data governance officers, transformation and innovation managers, and consultants and advisors supporting organisations in AI adoption and governance.
Delivery is classroom-based over two days, combining lecture on frameworks, case study discussion, and hands-on exercises using Straits Interactive's no-code GenAI platform, Capabara.
This course is developed in partnership with Straits Interactive, a leading edtech company committed to enabling organisations to thrive in a business landscape defined by Generative AI.
