Event Overview
Progressing your career and studying a degree don’t have to compete for the same hours. The Competency-based Stackable Micro-credential (CSM) Pathway in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Infrastructure and Systems Engineering lets you learn in stages that fit around work.
Each micro-credential is 18 credits and stands on its own. Complete one and you earn a Specialist Certificate. Stack them, and they count towards a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
This information session is where you see how the pathway works. You’ll hear how the micro-credentials fit together, how stacking leads to the degree, and what to consider when choosing your first step.
Who Should Attend
Working adults who want to build their engineering capability with flexibility and precision. You may be a diploma holder looking for a clear route to a degree. You may already hold a degree and want a focused way to deepen your engineering skills. Either way, you can start with a single micro-credential and decide how far to stack.
What You Will Learn
- How the CSM Pathway is structured, from the 18-credit micro-credentials to the degree
- How each SIT Specialist Certificate stacks towards the SIT Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
- How to choose a starting point that fits your background and goals
- Funding options and a live Q&A with the programme team, if these are on the agenda
Speakers
Johnny Liang and Elaine Lim, Programme Advisors, SITLEARN.
