About Course
AI systems can now reason, plan and act towards a goal without a person directing each step. That capability moves the conversation from what AI can generate to what it can be trusted to do, and it puts a new set of decisions in front of senior leaders: which workflows to hand over, what boundaries to set, and how to build the organisation around them.
This programme gives senior and technology leaders a structured, non-technical grounding in agentic AI and its implications for strategy, operating models and risk. It is built around six modules covering the agentic paradigm shift, architecting the agentic enterprise, the economics of autonomy, governance, risk and security, leadership and workforce transformation, and a strategy capstone.
Case studies are drawn from Google DeepMind AlphaFold, Vertex AI Agent Builder, the Jules coding agent, the Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol and Google Cloud supply-chain applications show how organisations are architecting agentic systems in practice. In the capstone, teams design and present a 12-month adoption roadmap for their own organisation, covering the target use case and its projected return, the governance framework, the workforce transition plan and the underlying technology stack. No technical or programming background is required.
Delivery is classroom-based across three days, with two two-hour sessions each day for a total of 12 hours. Every session combines a lecture and case study, a facilitated workshop, and structured reflection.
Who Should Attend
Minimum Entry Requirements
- Familiarity with general business strategy and organisational decision-making is beneficial
No technical or programming background is required
The Agentic AI Series
This course is part of a collection of Agentic AI courses curated by SITLEARN, spanning finance, legal, human resources, marketing, operations, and risk and security. Each course imparts agentic AI foundations customised to the specific function. View the full collection here.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Distinguish agentic AI from generative AI and traditional automation, and explain what independent reasoning, planning and action change for the enterprise.
- Articulate the strategic and competitive implications of autonomous agents for their own operating model.
- Describe the anatomy of a multi-agent system, including how agents are orchestrated, coordinated and bounded.
- Design a multi-agent workflow for a target business process, drawing on enterprise reference examples.
- Build the business case for autonomy, modelling value creation and projected return for a high-value use case.
- Evaluate governance, risk and security exposure arising from the attack surface that autonomous agents introduce.
- Set human-in-the-loop triggers and audit mechanisms that keep agent behaviour within defined boundaries.
- Assess workforce and reskilling implications, including how performance measurement changes under human-agent collaboration.
- Design a 12-month adoption roadmap covering use case, governance framework, workforce transition and technology stack.
- Present and defend a strategic roadmap to a leadership audience.
