This project aims to collate electrophysiological changes in children (aged 7–16) post-acquired brain injury using EEG and correlate these with formal neuropsychological assessment scores.

Children with brain injuries due to infections, immune-mediated encephalitis, trauma, stroke, or epilepsy often have unmet cognitive rehabilitation needs.

A technical flowchart titled "BCI System" showing the signal flow: EEG recording, signal processing, generation of control signals, and translation into command signals. It highlights the feedback loop between the user's brain state (attention, relaxation, working memory) and a virtual reality gaming environment.

Neurofeedback training will be used for cognitive rehabilitation, with changes in EEG patterns serving as an objective measure of cognitive improvement.
