Brain Computer Interface with Neurofeedback for Rehabilitation of Children with Cognitive Impairments Post-Acquired Brain Injury
This project aims to collate electrophysiological changes in children (aged 7–16) post-acquired brain injury using EEG and correlate these with formal neuropsychological assessment scores.
Children with brain injuries due to infections, immune-mediated encephalitis, trauma, stroke, or epilepsy often have unmet cognitive rehabilitation needs.
Neurofeedback training will be used for cognitive rehabilitation, with changes in EEG patterns serving as an objective measure of cognitive improvement.
