This project studies the use of cyber deceptive elements to engage adversaries. It introduces ambiguity and confusion to attackers by inserting deceptive features such as doctored binaries and spoofed system settings, allowing for proactive defence responses.
Project Deliverables/Outcomes/Impact:
- The solution is incorporated in a honeypot infrastructure to evaluate its effectiveness in real-world environment
- Academic paper “HoneyWin: High-Interaction Windows Honeypot in Enterprise Environment” submitted to peer-reviewed conference IEEE DSC 2025
