Simon Kuik has been a key player in the sustainability field since 2017, making significant contributions to business, environmental, and community impact. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Strategy, he oversees the Sustainability Office at Seatrium, where he focuses on developing the group's sustainability strategy and facilitating the seamless integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations.
 
Simon currently serves as the President of the Association of Singapore Marine and Offshore Energy Industries (ASMI) and is an esteemed member of various influential industrial councils and educational institution committees, including the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) and St John’s Island National Marine Laboratory (SJINML).
 
With over 30 years of experience in the maritime and offshore energy environment, Simon has held diverse roles in operations, engineering, quality, IT, and technology across various Singapore and overseas units of the company. Simon has also been recently appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Mark Teo is an Assistant Professor of Design in the Business, Communication and Design cluster at the Singapore Institute of Technology. He has more than 15 years of experience, straddling practice and higher education, and has practiced in Singapore, Australia, and Canada. Mark is interested in how spaces impact people’s lifestylesand vice versa. He has crafted and overseen projects ranging from small lighting installations to conservation shophouses and multi-unit high-rise residential developments. Mark is a member of the Singapore Institute of Architects and served on the Sustainability Committee in 2009, during which he was a contributor to the institute’s policy paper on the attributes of a sustainable built environment. He is also serving on both the Sustainability Education Committee and the Sustainability Work Group at  the Singapore Institute of Technology. His current research interests are in human-centred design, sustainability, urban agriculture, and food security.
