About Course

As industries accelerate their digital and industrial transformation journeys, the demand for engineers and technicians with practical expertise in robotics application and automation continues to grow.

This micro-credential aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to design, develop, and evaluate robotic and automation systems. It provides

Learners will gain a strong foundation in the principles of robotics and automation, including components of a robot, path and trajectory planning, kinematics, mechatronics, navigation, perception, control, and programming for industrial automation and services.

The programme is structured around four competency units that progress from foundational industrial automation principles through to the design and integration of autonomous robotic systems.

Integrating online and in-person delivery, learners will gain hands-on experience with real-world tools and technologies, preparing them to drive automation initiatives and contribute meaningfully to their organisations' operational excellence goals.

This micro-credential is part of the CSM Pathways in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Infrastructure and Systems Engineering.
