Learning the LEAN methodology has greatly changed my perspective on resolving problems and improvement efforts. I believe the department will benefit from improved efficiency due to its exposure to many problem-solving tools, despite the limitations we face. Indeed, when a system is good, it will run on its own. Workplace learning is an essential part of the healthcare business, as change is the only constant, and we need to learn to embrace these changes or challenges.
