Develop skills and techniques to facilitate Workplace Learning at your workplace through scoping, designing and implementing an actual Workplace Learning project.
Learn and practice Workplace Learning mentoring and coaching skills through individual coaching sessions and real-life supervision of coaches and mentees.
Who Should Attend
Learning Outcomes
The programme consists of 2.5-days of training, coaching sessions, and a final assessment.
Phase 1: Training
Learners would be:
- Introduced to the Workplace Learning Framework and how to facilitate workplace learning using the GROW Coaching Model and skills and techniques for effective communication and feedback.
- Learning how Workplace Learning is aligned with the Company’s Core Values and Corporate Training & Development Plans, and apply Workplace Learning Assessment Principles, Methods and Tools to identify and scope a suitable Workplace Learning project with key deliverables and outcomes articulated, develop a Coaching and Implementation Plan through the Workplace Learning project and developing a Workplace Assessment Plan outlining methods and tools to be used.
Phase 2: Practicum
Learners would be:
- Implementing Workplace Learning Project and applying workplace coaching skills and techniques.
Phase 3: Evaluation
- The assessor will ask the candidate questions to provide the candidate the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of the outcomes of the course.
- At the end of the assessment, the assessor will provide the candidate with feedback on the understanding of key principles in coaching and mentoring and the overall presentation session. The outcome of the assessment will either be competent (C) or not-yet-competent (NYC).

Certificate and Assessment
A Certificate of Attainment will be issued to participants who:
- Attend at least 75% of the course
- Undertake and pass non-credit bearing assessment during the course
Participants who meet the attendance requirement but do not pass the assessment will receive a Certificate of Participation.
