About Course

As global economies accelerate toward mandatory climate disclosures and net-zero commitments, organisations are under increasing pressure to measure, manage, and transparently report their environmental impact. Professionals who can bridge sustainability reporting with carbon accounting are becoming critical to driving corporate accountability and long-term resilience.

This course introduces you to the essential sustainability reporting standards and carbon accounting fundamentals required to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape and manage corporate environmental impact.

Day one focuses on building a strong foundational knowledge of global reporting frameworks, with a specific emphasis on the Singapore landscape and SGX’s sustainability requirements, particularly IFRS S1 and IFRS S2.

On day two, you will transition into the mechanics of carbon accounting. You will learn the technicalities of calculating Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, followed by an introduction to carbon management concepts and the development of decarbonisation targets.

Day three covers practical carbon emission reduction strategies and deep dives into critical reporting standards such as the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.
