Choo Chiau Beng Outstanding Student Award in Naval Architecture
The Choo Chiau Beng Outstanding Student Award in Naval Architecture is given out to the most outstanding graduating student of the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) who is pursuing the full-time degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture. One Award will be given annually commencing Academic Year 2013/2014.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must meet the following criteria:|
- Graduating student of SIT pursuing the full-time degree Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture; in particular but not limited to those from the Institute’s Overseas University Partner, Newcastle University
- Achieved outstanding academic results in Naval Architecture
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- Made significant contributions beyond academic studies to the Institute or the community
The Award will be given out only if there is a candidate of sufficient merit.
