Interdisciplinary Engagement in Sustainability Education: A Contextualised Learning via Enquiring, Answering, and Reflection (CLEAR) Approach

Grant Name
Applied Learning and Innovation Grant (ALIGN)

Abstract

This project aims to enhance student engagement and critical thinking in sustainability education by implementing the Contextualised Learning via Enquiring, Answering, and Reflection (CLEAR) approach. This method encourages students from diverse disciplines to actively participate in knowledge construction by generating questions and answers based on sustainability-related scenarios. By incorporating real-world contexts and higher-order thinking skills, CLEAR aligns with Applied Learning Pedagogy and fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, equipping students with problem-solving skills relevant to industry needs.
