iPrac – interactive videos to enhance learning of practical skills in neurological physiotherapy

Grant Name
SIT Advancement for Learning and Teaching (SALT)

Abstract

The iPrac (Interactive videos for learning of Practical skills in Neurological Physiotherapy) project aims to develop interactive videos to enhance the learning of practical skills in Neurological Physiotherapy. These interactive videos will not only showcase the demonstration of practical skills/treatment techniques commonly used in neurological conditions (e.g. stroke, traumatic brain injury), but also incorporate quizzes either throughout or at the end of the videos to ensure active learning.

With the iPrac project, we hope to create more time for practice and feedback in practical classes and encourage students to engage in self-directed learning. The grant money will allow us to develop a total of 50 to 70 interactive videos that will be accessible to all students enrolled in the Neurological Physiotherapy modules that span across the undergraduate and post-graduate physiotherapy programmes.
