This one-day course will delve into the fundamentals of Open Innovation (OI) and explore strategies for SMEs to expedite the adoption of OI in their innovation journey.

Designed to offer learners a hands-on learning experience, the course aims to enhance their understanding of leveraging OI. Learners will explore how SMEs can utilise various public OI intermediaries in Singapore to discover innovative solutions for their business challenges.

The course begins with discussions on local SME cases that have successfully implemented OI, providing practical insights into its utilisation within SMEs and their innovation endeavours.

Following this, there will be a dialogue session featuring key executives from local OI marketplace providers such as A*Star ACCM, IPI, and other Centers of Innovation from various institutions (SIT, Polytechnics, etc.). The session aims to facilitate collaboration with ecosystem partners, providing learners with access to available knowledge and technical expertise.
