Li Haowei

President

I am a Year 2 Computer Engineering student at the Singapore Institute of Technology. Having participated in the Mapletree Challenge 2022 has been a great experience for me. I’ve learnt a lot from the master classes and Entrepreneurship Forum. The sharing by mentors and industry leaders has inspired me in developing my entrepreneurial mindset.

As we move towards a post-pandemic world, environmental challenges will continue to arise, as will new solutions. As President of the Mapletree Challenge Student EXCO, I am dedicated to finding people with great ideas and helping them to realise them. To do so, my team and I will work closely to spread the awareness of Mapletree Challenge to a wider audience, while encouraging young talents to participate in the challenge, and contribute their ideas to make our world greener and sustainable.

I believe Mapletree Challenge will be the right platform for people to shine and turn ideas into reality.

Tan Kee Yee

Vice President

I am Kee Yee, currently a Year 2 student in Electrical Power Engineering in SIT-NU. Back as a student in Temasek Polytechnic, I participated in various competitions to challenge myself to see how far my innovative and creative side can help in the various problems happening in our daily lives.

In the most recent competition that I participated in, Energy Market Authority (EMA)'s Singapore Energy Grand Challenge (SEGC), I partnered with Schneider Electric to tackle their problem statement in reducing carbon emissions and maintaining grid reliability. Through that competition, I worked collaboratively with my group mates and emerged as champion in the competition after various trials of problem thinking and analysis.

As the upcoming Vice-President in the Mapletree Challenge Committee, I hope to inspire other students to participate in such competitions and challenges to showcase their creativity, develop their skills as young entrepreneurs, and be successful in their career.

Tan Hao Jun Bryan

Secretary

I am currently a Year 2 Student in Electrical Power Engineering at SIT-NU. Previously, as a student at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), I had opportunities to participate in various activities beyond the classroom. Participating in activities, such as design challenges, I gained many valuable experiences and learned to challenge my capabilities to innovate and plan a business model. During my study at NYP, I was honoured to take up the leadership role of President of the NYP-School of Engineering Club.

Even though I have moved on to SIT, I am still passionate about what I do and open to new experiences. My team and I participated in the recent Singapore Energy Grand Challenge (SEGC). We emerged champions by developing sustainable solutions for industry problems, such as reducing carbon emissions and maintaining grid reliability.

As the Mapletree Challenge Committee Secretary, I support the event's planning, and I want to encourage my peers to participate and shine in this platform that Mapletree provides.
