Thong Ngee Goh

Biography

Prof Goh obtained his BE (ME) from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada and PhD from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA.  He is a Registered Professional Engineer, and a Founding Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineering.  At various times he was Dean of Engineering, Head of Department of Industrial Systems Engineering & Management, Director of University Office of Quality Management, CEO of Design Technology International, all of the National University of Singapore.  Among numerous international recognitions he has received are: Academician Emeritus, International Academy for Quality (IAQ), Ishikawa-Kano Gold Medalist, Asian Network for Quality (ANQ), Harrington-Ishikawa Medalist, Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO), Eugene L Grant Medalist, American Society for Quality (ASQ), William G Hunter Award recipient, ASQ.  He is the author or co-author of six specialized books, one of which (Six Sigma: Advanced Tools for Black Belts and Master Black Belts, Wiley 2006) won the inaugural Masing Book Prize of the International Academy for Quality.
