Biography
Dr. ZHOU focuses on digital supply chain innovation and the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into industrial operations. Before joining the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), she accumulated extensive industry experience in global supply chain management, procurement, and operations planning across multinational corporations, encompassing both forward and reverse logistics. She holds a Ph.D. in Engineering, with research concentrated on AI-based optimization for energy storage systems. She previously held Research Fellow positions at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where she contributed to research on AI-driven optimization and energy system management. Her current research focuses on applying AI and machine learning into supply chain systems, encompassing demand forecasting enhancement, network optimization, and circular economy planning within the broader contexts of digital transformation and intelligent operations. Dr. Zhou is keen to collaborate with industry partners to advance data-driven digitalization initiatives, translating research into practical and impactful solutions that enhance the efficiency, agility, and sustainability of modern supply chains.
